Steering Committee
The National Project Steering Committee (NPSC) will provide on-going strategic advice and guidance regarding the overall design and implementation of Project activities and will review and endorse the Annual Work Plans. The NPSC will engage all major stakeholders, be non-political, and serve as a participatory forum for providing strategic advice on Project implementation.
The members of the NPSC are:
• Project Director, Canadian Urban Institute
• Ukrainian Project Manager, RGD Project
• Representative of the Ministry of Economy
• Representative of CIDA (Ottawa Project Officer or representative from the Canadian Embassy Technical Cooperation section).
• Representative of the National Association of Regional Development Agencies
• Head of the Zakarpattya Oblast State Administration
• Head of the Zaporizhzhia Oblast State Administration
The NPSC will be co-chaired by the Project Director and by the Ministry representative. Representatives from other donor-funded activities will sit as observers on the NPSC.
The first NPSC meeting was held on November 9, 2005 in Kyiv, Ukraine.
