Public Recognition is the Highest Award
There are many types of awards and tributes that can be presented to public officials and civil servants to recognize their contributions to their profession. The highest award, however, is one based on the recognition from the public that the officials serve.
On December 25, 2009 in Zaporizhzhia, an RGD-supported award ceremony entitled “Public Recognition” took place. The event was organized by the newly established Regional Development Agency “Prioritet” to honor local public servants for their contributions to advancing regional and community development.
The winners were chosen from a list of nominees provided by over 20 public organizations from various rayons and cities of Zaporizhzhia oblast.
The following were recognized for their outstanding efforts:
